How DivorceCare Works
Each DivorceCare meeting consists of two distinct segments:
Video Seminar
DivorceCare provides your church with materials to conduct a weekly seminar and support group. There are 13 video seminars on DVD, featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics from a Christian perspective.
The DivorceCare video seminars are produced in an interesting television magazine format and feature on-location video and the real-life stories of people who have been through divorce. They feature interviews with trusted Christian experts, allowing you confidence that your DivorceCare group is built on a biblical, Christ-centered foundation.
Support Group Discussion
After viewing each weekly video seminar, your DivorceCare group will spend time discussing the video and talking about what is going on in each person’s life. DivorceCare groups are designed to be led by lay leaders. We provide discussion questions, an extensive Leader’s Guide and video-based leader training for your lay leaders. In addition, DivorceCare provides free ongoing support for your lay leadership team.
