We offer a safe place for you to find hope and healing with God’s help.

A typical class runs like this:
6:30 Arrive/share about your week/light snacks
7:00/7:15 DivorceCare video (about 40 minutes)
7:45/8:00 Discuss the video
8:25 Closing prayer
8:30 Leave/continue discussions

We will have light snacks each class for you to enjoy anytime during the class. With busy work schedules, it may be hard for you to eat first, so if you need to, bring your fast food/McDonald’s/Burger King to class. It is perfectly fine to arrive at any time; most nights we start the video between 7:00 and 7:15 (we would rather you come, even if you are late).

We will be meeting in the church conference room, GC 19. The conference room is in the pre-school part of the church. So, if you enter at the front doors of the church, on the left are two glass doors, enter there (into the Garden Center). Take the left hallway. We are the third door on the left (it is the first real room). The conference room has a coffee pot, so we can have a fresh pot of coffee.

In the event of snow… If Boone County Schools close, we will not have class that night. If it snows later in the day, I will email you about 3:00 if we plan to cancel. Use wisdom, don’t risk bad roads. If we cancel a class, we will pick up where we left off at the next class. DivorceCare is 13 weeks and we can have the conference room as many times as we need it.

We, Tom and Sherri, have been facilitating the DivorceCare classes for several years. We were participants in the spring 2007 class of DivorceCare. This class is co-ed and not one sided. We don’t look to place blame, but to help equip you for life after separation and divorce. We are not counselors, but we are willing to share from our life experiences to offer hope and helpful ideas; we are willing to answer your questions.
