As one of the pastors of Grace Church, I want to personally welcome you to DivorceCare! I commend you for taking such a huge step of vulnerability and courage to participate in DivorceCare. It is no small thing that you have made this decision, but I know that God will bring healing to your heart as a result. Psalm 34:18 says, "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." If this describes even a part of you, I want you to know that you are in good company! We are all broken by sin and in need of God's mercy and compassion! We, at Grace Church, are here for you! There have been times that the church has been guilty of "shooting it's wounded," but that is not what we've been called to do! God wants His church to be a "hospital for the hurting" and I guarantee that you will experience that kind of merciful care through Dan and Karen Gudith as they facilitate DivorceCare.
