Honeyridge Baptist Church DivorceCare

Welcome to the DivorceCare programme! We are based in Randpark Ridge. (intersection of Beyers Naude and Eastwood Avenue.) Our purpose is to provide "Help, Hope and Healing" to men and women who are dealing with the damaging impact of divorce, irrespective of their background or belief system. The programme is Bible-based and runs twice a year for 14 weeks. Groups are led by experienced and professional facilitators, and deal with the intensely practical challenges typically experienced by people going through the challenges of divorce. Sessions take place on Sunday afternoons between 5pm and 7pm. There is no charge for attending, but there is a one-off registration fee of R150.00 which covers the cost of a personal workbook, and tea / coffee at each session. For parents of children between the ages of 6 and 12, we also present a childrens' programme called DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) which enables parents to have their children in a parallel programme at the same time and venue. Because of Covid 19 requirements, we observe South African protocol, including sanitizing of all equipment and tea/coffee facilities. The next programme for 2021 will be starting on August 1.
